GM Recall Thousands of Products

In December last year, General Motors pulled back 1.262 units of cars manufactured in United States. Earlier this year, they will increase the number of cars drawn, namely include the Cadillac Escalade, Escalade ESV, Cadillac EXT, Chevrolet Avalanche, Colorado, Silverado, Suburban, Tahoe and GMC Canyon, Sierra, Yukon and Yukon XL.

The withdrawal was due to the rear axle problems. "If the rear wheel axle pin broken, could cause the rear axle lock. So the driver can lose control direction of the vehicle and potentially cause an accident, "said GM was quoted as saying autoevolution.

GM itself acknowledges there have been one incident where the driver had a broken rear axle. Fortunately the incident was not until the request resulted in an accident victim.
